Transient Beauty

"msingh ji, kuch lamma safar ho gya lagda?"

I actually came back last saturday evening, but it's indeed true what veer says, the safar has indeed become lamma. The world seems different, the baseline no longer where it used to be, what was once seemed a constant routine and everyday feature now rests on shaky ground. The shift in perspective may be temporary, or possibly more deep rooted and permanent.

The outlook appears more bleak and barren, the ultimate reality more perceptible, and the energy to post not as before. So apologies for not posting, perhaps I'll make a start with the easy one's by simply posting some photo's.

...and I feel we share the sentiment/experience.

I can tell it was a "significant" trip. Good to see you back :)

I've gone to India twice and spent significant time at the Hari Mandir Sahib on both trips. Both times I've come home to a different life. The Guru has blessed us so much.

Guroo Fateh!

It's great to have you back m-singh veerjee. I'm glad you had a 'valuable' trip, sometimes we find understanding in the darkest times of life. May Guroo Ji's light continue to shine through you.

Your blogger sis :)

Thanks for your welcome and comments sikhi, ss, s.k., prabhu, veer and others.

veer ji, it's as if one is seeing the world and one's relationship to it in a different light. Fundamental questions bubble up from the subconcious, challanging what was the norm. Questions such as why am I spending time posting on this blog?, am I making any progress by carrying on with the usual routine?. This reflection is coupled with a feeling that times is passing by, worries about the possibility of deteriorating health, and having to face the final truth.

But the mind is fickle, so it's possible on another day all these concerns may no longer be.

Hope this makes some sense.

ahhhhhhhh those concerns! :) i was watching constantine (the movie) at 2am one night/morning and all of a sudden it hit know the "concerns" and it's not a good feeling at all.

i won't be the "maya" that entices you to keep blogging. but for what it's worth i think you haven't gone nuts like some other people we know.

well here's hoping that you don't ever get rid of those "concerns" and those concerns lead you to happy and healthy life.
